Smudge tool is a bit evil...

Very flat image you have gaps between the outline and your actual coloring, the coloring and the outline on two seperate layers..

Use your opacity settings... create gradients, shadows highlights, and shadows. Right now you have very harsh white for highlights, and no shadows at all, work your opacity, and avoid the smudge toll... all it does is move colors around, doesnt really blend them together.

you have a great sense for proportions, fabric, and things that turn. i think once you master the tools on the computer, this will look great.
